The Yau Tsim Mong District comprises Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Mong Kok. Although it is the smallest of Hong Kong’s 18 districts in terms of area, it has a very high population density. In 2024, the total number of employed persons in the district exceeded 285,000, making it the third-largest after Kwun Tong and Central and Western districts. It is Hong Kong’s most dynamic hub for commerce, culture, and transportation.
